High Quality Photography Prints
All my photography work is printed by 'theprintspace', a Europe leading printing specialist. I personally hand picked their C-Type Fuji Matt paper. This is a Fuji Crystal archive paper with a semi-matt finish. The paper is coated with a slightly stippled texture giving a very natural photographic finish with subtle colour. Maintains colours in a very natural way, giving a detailed, 3-dimensional beautiful photographic reproduction.
You will not be disappointed with the quality, and it really stood out to me compared to other prints available. I prefer the matt as coupled with a frame, I found glossy images can cause too much reflection and detract away from the photo. This paper provides a subtle silky sheen, coupled with a bright white finish, adding just enough depth and brightness to the image without the distraction. It is also has a high durability, whilst maintaining a relatively light paper weight of 231 gsm.
Whilst I use this as my standard and fully recommended option, if you would like something different, please get in contact as there are a range of options available.
Frames & Mounts
I am excited to now be offering a framed option to my photography prints, removing the hassle of what can be a difficult area to get right. Again, the frames I offer are supplied by 'theprintspace' who will expertly hand make every frame and even frame the prints for you.
Premium is standard, offering a traditional styled frame made from sustainable solid wood. So no veneers, MDF or any other type of reconstituted materials used here! Every corner is carefully glued, sealed and sanded to the join - in order to achieve a completely seamless, smooth feel. 100% acid free materials are used and are FSC certified (a non-for-profit organisation that promotes the sustainable management of forests). As a photographer who lives in the Forest and photographs quite a few woodlands, this is extremely important to me that my products are as good for the environment and sustainable as they possibly can be.
I offer 2 versions of the frame, Black & White. My personal preference is Black, but this is completely a personal choice and I think my work looks great in any of these choices.
It is worth noting that in my shop, the reference to the sizing when it comes to the framed options is for the size of the frame, and not of the print. So for example, where it states an A3 Frame, this means the frame is of A3 size and the print therefore be a little bit smaller. I give exact measurements of what each size would mean in the product details, so please do look for those.
As for the mounts, these come as standard in my framing option. The mounts are bottom weighted, meaning that the width of the mount at the top and bottom is slightly larger that at the sides. This is deliberate in order to help drawing the eye through the image as well as balance, offering a better aesthetic. The mounts I provide are white and differ in size dependent on the size of the frame, again to help balance the image out.
